Basis. Thresholds follow the Annex A matrix of EMB Memorandum Circular 2014-005 (Revised Guidelines for Coverage Screening and Standardized Requirements under the Philippine EIS System), with documents and offices from its Table 2. Project-specific rules follow DAO 2025-20 and DAO 2025-30 (floating solar), DAO 2023-08 (Laguna Lake floating solar), DAO 2026-09 (offshore wind), DAO 2025-25 (climate and disaster risk assessment), DAO 2025-36 and DAO 2026-23 (Boracay Island), DAO 2026-03 (reclaimed areas), and DAO 2026-22 (multipartite monitoring).

Limits. This tool gives an indicative pre-screening only and does not replace the screening decision of the DENR Environmental Management Bureau. Project types not listed in Annex A are screened by EMB against the most similar type; choose "Other / unlisted project type" for those. Results near a threshold boundary should be confirmed with EMB.
