Rodolfo Romarate II, En.P, Ph.D. is a distinguished environmental professional and academic with over thirteen years of comprehensive experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, environmental impact assessment, and sustainability consulting. A Licensed Environmental Planner and DENR-EMB registered EIA Report Preparer, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science from Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, where he graduated as Class Valedictorian and received the Best Dissertation Award for his groundbreaking research on atmospheric microplastics. His career spans leadership roles at international renewable energy investment firms including Verdant Energy Ltd and Berkeley Energy LLP, where he spearheaded the development and implementation of Environmental and Social Management Systems aligned with IFC Performance Standards, led ESG due diligence for projects across the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and managed stakeholder engagement programs with communities, regulators, and development finance institutions. As Managing Partner, Dr. Romarate brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical expertise to lead the firm's strategic direction and technical services. Beyond his corporate achievements, he serves as Associate Lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University and MSU-IIT, and is a published researcher with peer-reviewed papers on microplastics pollution and air quality. His contributions to environmental science have been recognized internationally, including the Best Paper Award at the 10th World Congress on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering in Barcelona, Spain, and The Outstanding MSU-IIT Alumni Award in 2024. Jan Julio A. Espiritu is a seasoned environmental professional with over eleven years of comprehensive experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental permitting, and project management. A Chemical Engineering graduate from Adamson University, he has been a DENR-EMB registered EIA Report Preparer since 2014 and holds Pollution Control Officer certifications from both the DENR-EMB and Laguna Lake Development Authority. His career spans leadership roles including Environmental Compliance and Management Head at Simmons Consult International Inc., where he has successfully delivered environmental assessments for landmark infrastructure projects such as the New Manila International Airport, the Boracay Bridge Project, and numerous developments for major corporations including Filinvest, San Miguel Holdings, PLDT, and Globe Telecom. As Head of Business Operations for Technical Services, Jan Julio brings a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from baseline characterization through regulatory approval. His expertise extends beyond technical delivery to include client management, team supervision, and capacity building, having served as a resource speaker on the Philippine EIS System, environmental regulations, and compliance monitoring for various training programs. With his strong technical foundation, regulatory acumen, and demonstrated leadership in managing high-profile environmental projects across sectors including real estate, energy, telecommunications, and infrastructure, Jan Julio is well-positioned to drive operational excellence and deliver value-added technical services to clients.
