Which DENR Permits Does a Facility Need?

Most establishments in the Philippines hold several environmental permits at once. The ECC or CNC covers the project itself. Separate permits then regulate air emissions under the Philippine Clean Air Act (RA 8749), wastewater discharges under the Philippine Clean Water Act (RA 9275), and hazardous waste under RA 6969. Most establishments must also designate an accredited Pollution Control Officer.

Air and water permit applications are generally processed through the EMB Online Permitting and Monitoring System. Facilities within the Laguna de Bay Region are additionally subject to the permitting requirements of the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA).

EnviSynergy maps every permit a facility needs, prepares the technical requirements, and tracks validity periods so that renewals are filed on time.

How We Work

  1. 1

    Permit Mapping

We review the facility, its equipment, and its waste streams to identify every permit and registration that applies.

  2. 2

    Gap Review

Existing permits are checked for validity, conditions, and consistency with current operations.

  3. 3

    Technical Preparation

Engineering documents, inventories, and testing results are compiled to meet EMB requirements.

  4. 4

    Filing and Follow-Through

Applications are filed with the appropriate EMB Regional Office or LLDA and followed through to issuance.

  5. 5

    Renewal and Compliance

Validity periods and permit conditions are tracked so that renewals and reports are submitted on time.
