Legal Basis
Section 2 of Republic Act No. 9322 (dated August 8, 2004) and Commonwealth Act No. 141 (Public Land Act), as amended.
Certification
DENR certifies Land Classification Map No. 3701 as the correct map of the portion of Timberland Block Project No. 13 (per LC Map No. 3400) reclassified as agricultural land (alienable and disposable) open for disposition. The area covers 512.80 hectares of public land in the Municipality of Rizal, Province of Palawan. LC Map No. 3701 is attached to and forms an integral part of the Order.
Conditions
Within the reclassified area, the following remain reserved as forest lands under permanent forest cover:
- A 15-meter strip on each side of any public trail; and
- A 20-meter strip on each side, measured from the highest bank, of any stream or river.
Practical Note
Project proponents and landholders in the covered area should check parcel boundaries against LC Map No. 3701 and observe the forest reserve strips in site planning, surveys, and environmental permitting.
Effectivity
Takes effect upon approval.
