Key Provisions
Sets approval authorities for nomination and travel authority for official and personal foreign travel of NAMRIA personnel, regardless of funding:
- NAMRIA Administrator and Deputy Administrators: recommended by the Supervising Undersecretary; approved by the Secretary or delegated official.
- All other NAMRIA positions: recommended by the Deputy Administrator; approved by the NAMRIA Administrator.
All requests are endorsed by the NAMRIA Personnel Development Committee. The Order supersedes Section III, Item iii of DAO 2022-09, page 2 of DAO 2026-01, and inconsistent issuances on delegated authority for NAMRIA foreign travel.
Effectivity
Takes effect immediately after publication and upon acknowledgment by ONAR, UP Law Center.
